Labour Roster System
The Labour Roster System is designed to allow Management to
roster Team Members based on the planned requirements in each area
of the CDC. The system interfaces with G.O.D.S. to gain
actual "weighted average" volumes for planning future weeks.
The Planning and Resource Manager will import a master roster to
marry up to the planned requirements and then roster using the
casual labour pool where required to minimize the labour cost per
carton.
On the day of operation, the system allows the operational
managers to move Team Members to different activities in the CDC
depending on demand. This information is then displayed on
notice boards for all team members when entering the building to
know exactly which role they will be carrying out for the day.
The system also interfaces with the Time & Attendance System
to automatically inform Management who is not present for the day
so that labour adjustments can be quickly made to minimise the
impact to site.
